His heart held a cloud
A cloud which refused to die
He feared it would not fade for no one but the girl he loved
But he knew she was lost within the realms of death
Everyday without her the cloud grew a little bigger
Until his heart was choking for the air of the girl he loved
His dying heart was slowly losing its life
As its beat slowly faltered
He lied upon the ground gazing at the road of his life
He could only see so far
Before it was obscured by the undergrowth
He felt his heart beat stop so suddenly
He closed his eyes willing the angels of the dead to take him
He opened his eyes suddenly feeling alive with love
And saw at first nothing but soft white roses
But as he looked a little longer
At where the angels had taken him
He saw to his side there lay a girl wrapped within red silk
He slowly moved towards her
Feeling the cloud within his heart clearing
It was her he noticed with joy
His girl
His soul mate
She lay asleep
A sleeping beauty she was he knew
He kissed her upon the lips
Slowly she awoke
They clasped hands
Together they ran laughing within the roses
Away they went
Towards the pink horizon
Their lost love found again
